Summer Camp Info

General Information for the Summer Camp

Schedule:  Camp will run from 9AM - 1PM June 23, 24 and 25 at Malerbo Field in Burlington.  Players should bring plenty to drink, some snacks and even a light lunch as there will be several breaks throughout each session. 

Participants:  No experience is required to attend.  Age groups are as follows: 

Boys:  camp is open to all players currently in grades 2-6.  This includes all players who played at the bantam and junior level this season.

Girls:  camp is open to players currently in grades 2-8.  This includes all players who played at the bantam, junior and senior levels this season. 
 
Equipment: All equipment is the responsibility of the player and full equipment is required to participate. Equipment consists of:

 
Boys: Helmet, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, mouth-piece, stick and cup.
Girls: Eye-protection, colored mouth-piece and stick.
No player will be permitted to participate in practice or games without full equipment, including a mouth-piece. 
 
Please note that the counselors have no discretionary authority here. This is league policy and is for the safety of the players.

Registration:
 
If you have not already registered as of 6/21, the registration form can be found under "Documents" on the left side of the home page. Please print out the form, fill it out and bring it with you along with payment on the first day of camp and email Rick Keegan at  to let us know that you will be attending. 
 
Uniforms:  If you have not returned your uniform yet, please return it at camp (even if you are not attending).  There will be a bin for uniform return each day. 

Additional Details:   As with all BYLA events, our the CYVL Code of Conduct applies to our summer camp.  The Code of Conduct can be viewed under the documents tab.  Adherence to the code of conduct by all players and parents in mandatory for participation in our program.
